7 Reasons to Read the Glorious Qur’an !!
1. Inimitable:
It dares you to disprove it. How? It says that humans cannot write a book like this even if they pooled all their resources together and got help also from the spirits. The Qur’an said this issue fourteen hundred years ago and yet no one has been able to disprove it. Billions of books have been written but not another one like the Qur’an.
Say: "If the whole of mankind and Jinns were to gather together to produce the like of this Qur’an, they could not produce the like thereof, even if they backed up each other with help and support. " (Qur'an 017:088)
He, the Almighty, also says,
Orthey say: "He hath invented it". Say: "Then bring ten surahs, the like thereof, invented, and call on everyone ye can beside Allah, if ye are truthful !!" (Qur'an 011: 013)
2. Incorruptible:
It is the only religious sacred writing that has been in circulation for such a long time and yet remains as pure as it was in the beginning. The Qur’an was kept intact. Nothing was added to it; nothing was changed in it; and nothing was taken away from it ever since its revelation was completed 1400 years ago.
Allah Almighty has promised to protect it, He says,
"Surely We have revealed the Reminder (Qur’an) and We will assuredly guard it “from corruption”.(Qur'an 015: 09)
3. Unsurpassable:
The Qur’an is God’s final revelation to humankind. God revealed the Torah to Moses, the Psalms to David, the Gospel to Jesus, and finally the Qur’an to Muhammad salallahu 'alaihi wasallam . Peace be upon Moses, David, Jesus and Muhammad salallahu 'alaihi wasallam. No other book will come from God to surpass His final revelation.
4. Indisputable:
The Qur’an withstands the test of time and scrutiny. No one can dispute the truth of this book. It speaks about past history and turns out right. It speaks about the future in prophecies and it turns out right. It mentions details of physical phenomena which were not known to people at the time; yet later scientific discoveries prove that the Qur’an was right all along. Every other book needs to be revised to accord with modern know ledge. The Qur’an alone is never contradicted by a newly discovered scientific fact.
5. Your Roadmap for Life and Afterlife:
The Qur’an is the best guidebook on how to structure your life. No other book presents such a comprehensive system involving all aspects of human life. The Qur’an also points out the way to secure everlasting happiness in the afterlife. It is your roadmap showing how to get to Paradise.
6. God’s Gift of Guidance:
God has not left you alone. You were made for a reason. God tells you why he made you, what he demands from you and what he has in store for you. If you operate a machine contrary to its manufacturer’s specification you will ruin that machine. What about you? Do you have an owner’s manual for yourself? The Qur’an is from your Maker. It is a gift for you to make sure you function for success, lest you fail to function.
It is a healing from God. It satisfies the soul, and cleans the heart. It removes doubts and brings peace.
7. Your Calling Card to Communicate with your Lord:
Humans are social creatures. We love to communicate with other intelligent life. The Qur’an tells us how to communicate with the source of all intelligence and the source of all life. The Qur’an tells us who God is, by what name we should address Him, and the way in which to communicate with Him.
Are these not seven sufficient reasons for reading the Qur’an?

Quran o Aal Ki Jis Say Pehchan Nahi Hay ........ Wo Adami Tu Hay Magar Insan Nahi Hay
Muhammad ibn Ibrahim ibn Ishaq al-Taliqani - may God be pleased with him - narrated that Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Sa’eed al-Kufi al-Hamdani quoted on the authority of Ali ibn Al-Hassan ibn Fadhdhal, on the authority of his father that Abil Hassan Al-Reza (s) said, “Why were the Best Messengers called the ‘Ulul-Azm?” The Imam (s) answered, ‘They were called the ‘Ulu-Azm since they had laws and regulations. The Prophets that came after Noah (s) all followed the laws of Noah (s), and followed him. The Prophets (s) that came after Noah all followed his Book until Abraham (s) came. The Prophets (s) that came after Abraham (s) all followed Abraham’s laws. The laws and the ways of Abraham were followed by all the Prophets that came after Abraham (s) until Moses (s). Then after Moses (s), the Prophets followed his laws and ways and adhered to his Book until the time of Jesus (s). All the Prophets at the time of Jesus (s) and after him followed his laws and ways and adhered to his Book until the time of our Prophet Muhammad (s). Therefore, these five Prophets are the ‘Ulul-Azm and are the best of the Prophets and Messengers. The laws of Muhammad (s) will not be voided until the Resurrection Day. No Prophet will ever come after him until the Resurrection Day. It is incumbent to kill whoever claims Prophethood after him (s) or brings a book after the Qur’an for anyone who hears his claim.’”
Al-Hakim Abu Ali Al-Hussein ibn Ahmad al-Bayhaqi narrated that Muhammad ibn Yahya al-Sowli quoted on the authority of Al-Qasim ibn Isma’il Abi Zakwan: I heard Ibrahim ibn Al-Abbas narrate that Al-Reza (s) quoted on the authority of his father Musa ibn Ja’far (s) that a man asked Aba Abdullah (as-Sadiq) (s), “What is the reason that propagating or studying the Qur’an always adds freshness (to life)?” Imam As-Sadiq (s) replied, “It is because the Qur’an has not been revealed for a certain time, or to a certain people. It is fresh at any time and for any people all the way up until the end of time and the Resurrection Day.”
